The 21st Festival of German Films 2025 in Ludwigshafen will show eight feature films that where filmed with participation of clients of Bernhard Koch Management: Late Shift (dir: Petra Volpe), lensed by DoP Judith Kaufmann, Islands (dir: Jan-Ole Gerster), production design by Cora Pratz, Jakob’s Steed, directed by Katalin Gödrös, September 5 (dir: Tim Fehlbaum), production design by Julian R. Wagner, Leibniz – Chronicle of a Lost Painting (dir: Edgar Reitz), lensed by DoP Matthias Grunsky, Wonderfully Beautiful 2 (dir: Karoline Herfurth), production design by Susanne Hopf and Cicadas (dir: Ina Weisse) lensed by Judith Kaufmann. The festival opens on August 7, 2025 with Rainer Kaufmann‘s Petra Goes Swimming lensed by DoP Martin Farkas.

Together with her colleague Debora Reischmann production designer Susanne Hopf is creating the set design for feature film Agnes & Amir, a Nordpolaris production directed by Helena Hufnagel.

For lensing Petra Volpe’s hospital drama Late Shift DoP Judith Kaufmann has been nominated for the German Cinematography Award 2025.

DoP Judith Kaufmann was awarded the Bavarian Film Award 2024 for lensing The Glory of Life a period film produced by Tempest Film that she also directed together with Georg Maas.

Director Edgar Reitz’ latest feature film Leibniz – Chronical of a Lost Painting which was lensed by DoP Matthias Grunsky will be screened as a Berlinale Special during the 75th International Berlin Film Festival 2025. The period film was produced by if… Production with Edgar Reitz Filmproduktion.
