1965 born in Dresden

Following her graduation and an internship at DEFA-Studio for Animation Susanne in 1985 begins her studies of costume designat HfBK Dresden. After volonteering at DEFA-Studio for Feature Film in 1988 she takes up studies of stage design at HfBK Dresden. In 1991 she continues her studies at HFF Potsdam, where she obtains her scenography diploma in 1997.

Since 1994 Susanne Hopf works as free-lance production designer for feature films, tv movies and series.
